The Laurel Poetry Collective celebrates its fourth anniversary by participating in the Minneapolis Central Public Library's "Talk of the Stack" series. All collective members will participate in a short reading followed by a question-and-answer period. Featured will be new books by Annie Breitenbucher (Fortune) and
Nolan Zavoral (Heretic Hotel). Sponsored by the Friends of the Minneapolis Public Libraries.

Thursday, May 18, 6-9 p.m. "Ignited" opening exhibition, reading and reception hosted by the Minnesota Center for the Book Arts (MCBA), 1011 Washington Ave. So. Ignited is the Laurel Collective's fourth anthology and has been chosen as the text block for an MCBA binding design competition. Anthology reading will be held at 7 p.m. in the Marshall Fields Performance Hall, located on the second floor. Bound volumes submitted for competition will be on display from May 19-July 8.
