God Lives in Iowa
God lives in Iowa.
Driving south on Highway 60
I see him sometimes.
He is painting fields green.
He is singing.

Teresa on Writing Poetry
Perhaps my geatest gift in practicing writing has been the comfort of reconnecting to the world. I see myself in a different light because of what I know about the past, all that has brought me to this moment. All of that is with me when I sit down to write.
